Our Grants

In addition to shedding light on the contributions Black Arkansans have made to American history, the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame strives to protect the future of the next generation of our state’s trailblazers. The Arkansas Black Hall of Fame Foundation was established to ensure that African-American and underserved communities receive support and access to sufficient resources. We fulfill our mission by awarding grants to nonprofit organizations that assist these communities.

Eligibility

To receive a grant from the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame Foundation, the applicant must be:

501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, hospitals, public schools, or government agencies

Eligible for tax-exempt status

Located in the state of Arkansas

Apply for a grant

Applications for grants become available February 1, and are accepted through April 1. Recipients are announced in June during a ceremony.
